Jaguar Fault code P1000 will NOT illuminate the Jaguar Check Engine. Light (MIL light), however it will be indicated on a DTC Reader. If your MIL light comes back on again after having a fault repaired it is a very good indication that the original fault remains or that a new fault has shown up.
The code that was being thrown out was the P132B, which led me to believe that it was a sticking turbo. I read that this can be solved by dismantling the turbo and cleaning it with Mr Muscle oven cleaner. I also read that there are two codes normally associated with the turbo fault, P132A and P132B being the actuator and turbo itself respectively. 8ZiFJY.
