115 Answers. SOURCE: What is location of #2 cylinder on 2002 Jaguar X. The number 2 cylinder is in front of the car on the passenger side closest to the oil cap. The cylinders on the firewall side are the odd number, front of the car even number starting from the passenger side to drivers. Rear are 1,3,5 and front cylinders are 2,4,6.
