Same with me. Played yesterday with a friend - server which we were on went down for both of us at the same time. After that 0 servers are visible, regardless of ticked/unticked options in search - there are simply No servers running to connect to in BC2. Needs urgent fix as multiplayer is non-existant at the moment
Additionally, peak user count was 400% higher than any previous Battlefield title. DICE has submitted a patch to Sony for the PS3 version, which the company hopes will be pushed live later today.
As a general rule of thumb: Graphics do not affect network Latency. That said, poor graphics (especially games which blit to and from the graphics card a lot), can eat up CPU cycles on processors with a low number of cores (or games which don't separate rendering into a separate thread).
When the game will be successfully added to your ea account, you can play multiplayer :rjumendoka2: Does the EA app has this issue? No because that's going straight on your EA account, also now it's your only choice to get a key for there before it's too late and those run out too, it's been taken down.
Yesterday I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 at Origin sale. Unfortunately when I try to start multiplayer I have message like this: "You have lost connection with ea servers". I was trying to solve it by: adding IN/OUT exception in Windows Firewall, updating/reinstaling the game / punk buster. All in all i can't connect with multiplayer game.
Play Bad Company 2 while you still can! For those unaware, EA is shutting down the servers for some of the older "legacy" Battlefield games. This includes the beloved DICE game Bad Company 2, which is available on Steam and still has a handful of players online, and there's been a recent spike in population since the news.
